September 2015 Performances: All Fives

Making bookings easy to remember since September 2015: This coming month, I am performing on every day ending in "5".

Saturday, September 5th: The Paper Machete - A live magazine full of piss & vinegar. Come have a cocktail at Al Capone's very own speakeasy the Green Mill and get your fill of current events with a witty, satirical spin by some of the best writers in the city. There is also a live band and usually an irreverent op-ed by a puppet. You heard me. 3pm. Free/pass-the-hat.

Tuesday, September 15th: WRITE CLUB - Writers are pitted against each other and go for the literary jugular as they vie for the audience's favor. Trash talk encouraged. Metaphorical blood spillage a necessity. Winner's prize money gets donated to the charity of their choice. 7pm at The Hideout, $10

Friday, September 25th: Loose Chicks - A live, twice-monthly storytelling event for first-person true tales. Writers and performers share the hilarious and the heartbreaking. 8pm at Emerald City Coffee. Free/pass-the-hat.
