I have a theory that all the years wherein I am an odd-numbered age are the best years. I don't swear by it, but this theory has generally played out as true for most of my life, so I've been willing to play along. My birthday is early in the calendar, and it also happens that I am odd-aged during odd numbered years. It works out quite nicely.

2015 was indeed a good year.

Family:
This year was a Tour de Auntie of sorts. I got to see my sister's family out west for my nephew's HS graduation; hung out with my parents, brothers, sister-in-law and my twin sobrinas on the east coast, and saw my anipsia and anipsios and their parents in Michigan. My brother-in-law had a sudden loss in the family, which brought many of us to the southwest to grieve and spend time sharing memories together. A newphew came and stayed with me for a weekend before he left to live in South America for two years. Lots of wonderful & important time spent with family (and friends too).
