Happy December 2014 Sweets and Dearests,
So, without trying on purpose (except for once, when I asked) I have been lucky enough to get invited onto/involved with several podcasts. This is not only fun, but great for my vocal confidence...right? Well, it is definitely fun, that I know for sure :) Author and buddy Tee Morris must have seen this all coming a mile away, though, because he put me in his book back in the early aughts, because he's a kind dude.
If all goes well between now and the first quarter of 2015, I'll have two more guestings to announce. That is exciting in Gwynntown, lemme tell ya.
In the meantime, you can listen to the Tomefoolery podcast, wherein Sarah Shockey and I discuss this horrific book with darling host Cody Melcher. Tomefoolery is also on itunes, and I cannot recommend enough the episode they recorded about Twilight, it is fantastic.
Off-topic: Right now I'm reading a biography of Mme. Curie that focuses on her life after she won her second Nobel Prize and it is rather good. I'm also currently reading The Handmaid's Tale, and this other adorable 1800's comedy of manners novel called Wired Love by Ella Cheever Thayer.
Here's to the unexpectedly swift close of 2014, what a quick year!
