There's a new show in town called Miss Spoken, and you guessed it: The show features live lit by women. Woo! Their inaugural show is tomorrow night, May 28th, at Gallery Cabaret, 7pm, FREE. I am pretty excited to be there, some great ladies will be headlining. I met Carly Oishi, one of the founders of the show, on the Chicago live lit circuit and loved her stuff right away. I feel super lucky that she's asked me to be part of their June show next month, on the 18th! The theme is "debt" and I've already got some ideas bubbling :)
