Further Writings-es

Greetings my dumplings!! As mentioned in a previous post, I am competing at this month's WRITE CLUB, and for some reason that show seems to accidentally trip my fiction switch, even though I always sit down to write a persuasive essay. For my last two WC bouts, I couldn't manage to crank out non-fic and ended up with: A failed scientist so obsessed with time travel she poisons herself repeatedly (See SCIENCE), and a little boy who eats furniture like meals and eats books like rare desserts (See HUNGRY). The only time I wrote a non-fic essay for a WC bout was my very first time on the WRITE CLUB stage--indeed, my very first time doing any live lit, ever (See FANTASY).
This assignment caused the same reaction yet again. I've been assigned LEFT, going up against lovely friend Jessica who will be writing for RIGHT. I have three drafts going, each are completely different, and the only one that is complete is, of course, fiction. Though this time I don't think it is the right fit, we'll see. A lot can happen in three days!
